Dr Amy Scott

Dr Amy Scott is a highly qualified and experienced medical oncologist with a strong commitment to delivering patient centred care in the Northern Rivers Region.
Dr Scott completed her undergraduate medical and pharmacology degrees at Leeds University, UK. She completed specialised medical oncology training in Sydney and was awarded a fellowship in Medical Oncology with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2015.
Dr Scott established her private oncology practice at Oncology North Coast in 2016 and has VMO appointments at Lismore Base Hospital, Grafton Base Hospital and St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Lismore.
Dr Scott provides clinical care to patients with all types of solid organ cancers, she travels to outreach clinics in Ballina, Grafton and Maclean and is also involved in clinical trials at Lismore Base Hospital.
In addition to her clinical role she is actively involved with medical education. She is the Clinical Sub Dean of Western Sydney Medical school where she teaches and supervises medical students during their rural year in Lismore. She also supervises the Oncology Advanced Trainee.
Dr Scott enjoys living on the North Coast of New South Wales and particularly appreciates the relaxed atmosphere and strong sense of community in the region. She is passionate about regional healthcare and is dedicated to improving the care available to patients in the area.
