Dr Mark Flower

MBBS FRACP BEng (Hons)

Dr Mark Flower is a medical oncologist with broad experience across cancer types, with a particular interest in skin, urogenital/prostate, breast, gynaecological cancers. He is an active participant in multidisciplinary meetings including breast, skin/melanoma, gynaecological, gastrointestinal, prostate/urology and lung cancers and actively recruiting to a number of clinical trials.

Dr Flower completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2012 before completing post-graduate training in medical oncology in Queensland prior to completing his fellowship year in Lismore (NSW) and being awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Medical Oncology.

Mark is passionate about shared decision making with patients and tailoring investigation and treatment to individuals. He aims to empower patients with knowledge and understanding of disease processes and contemporary treatment modalities so that patients and their families can make informed decisions through their cancer journey.

Dr Mark Flower is consulting from Oncology North Coast on Wednesday and Thursdays and every second Tuesday in Ballina
