World Cancer Day 4th Feb
United in our goals, unique in our needs
World Cancer Day is an international observance that takes place on February 4th every year. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about cancer and encouraging people to act to prevent, detect, and treat the disease.
This year’s theme, “United by Unique,” emphasises placing individuals at the heart of cancer care, recognizing that each person’s experience with cancer is deeply personal and unique.
Oncology North Coast supports this year’s theme, a patient-centered approach to cancer care, ensuring that each person’s unique needs are met with compassion and empathy. This approach focuses on connection between healthcare providers and patients, as well as with the local community, ensuring that care is tailored to the individual.
